But that Navesink River-front mansion we told you about last week the one that was going up for auction at a minimum bid of $2.5 million, just two months after it changed hands for $2 million?
No bids, no sale.
“I guess most people wouldn’t be in a rush to pay an additional half million,” Jeff Zimmerman of Time & Again Auction Gallery in Linden, told redbankgreen this morning.
The property was acquired on April 30 by Carl Giuseppone of Manhattan from sellers Ronald and Larissa Zenker, according to Monmouth County records.
Attempts by redbankgreen to to reach Giuseppone have been unsuccessful.
The house will now likely become another teardown statistic, Zimmerman said.
“I think he’s going to knock it down and rebuild,” he said of the owner.
