Somehow, an agenda for the Metuchen Borough Council meeting scheduled for tonight wound up on the Borough of Red Bank website.
The Red Bank council is not scheduled to meet tonight. Borough Clerk Carol Vivona says the updating of the website is handled by an outside firm, and “I guess somebody goofed.”
The borough hopes to eventually make the updating an in-house job, she says.
In case you’re wondering, a presentation by the Metuchen Shade Tree Commission and a vote on a resolution to exempt Boyt’s Drug Store from a recycling requirement are slated.
Oh, and the Red Bank Planning Board meeting previously scheduled for tonight really has been canceled, as noted on the website. The next one is Oct. 1.
