Getting a jump on next month’s Paint the Town Pink breast cancer awareness campaign is this strip of curbing between the Broadway Diner and the YMCA’s Children’s Cultural Center on Monmouth Street.
Among the numerous other splashes of pink that are slated to decorate downtown Red Bank for the weeklong event is pink striping down the center of Broad Street. The paint will wash away in the first rain, according to borough Administrator Stanley Sickels.
Also known as ‘Pink Bank,’ the third annual edition of the event is sponsored by Riverview Medical Center and Red Bank RiverCenter. Downtown parking is free for the duration, May 2 through May 9.
