The four candidates for seats on the Red Bank Board of Education have been invited to a Q&A sponsored by the the Greater Red Bank branch of the NAACP scheduled for Tuesday night.
Incumbents Ann Roseman, Carrie Ludwikowski and Toni Brown are joined by Grace Costa in seeking three, 3-year terms on the board.
No candidates declared an interest in filling the one-year slot created by Mary Ellen Mess’ decision not to seek re-election.
According to the NAACP,
the candidates will have an opportunity to express their areas of concern, as well as explore strategies to strengthen public education for all children in Red Bank. After each candidate makes an opening statement there will be a question
and answer period.
The event is scheduled for 7p at St. PaulÂ’s Baptist Church, 196
River Street.
The election and voting on the school board budget is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21.
