GETTING READY FOR THE WEEKEND II
A crew from Guaranteed Plants & Florist in Locust began pulling weeds Tuesday at the traffic island at Bridge Avenue and Monmouth Street in Red Bank on Tuesday.
The island will planted with flowers in time for the Memorial Day weekend, crew members said.
The work is paid for by Red Bank RiverCenter as part of its business-district beautification efforts.
