In oRBit: A MUSICAL HANGOVER HELPER
Don’t look now, but it’s Music Week over at our sister site Red Bank oRBit.
Actually, do look now, because today and every day this week we’ll be
bringing you tips and tweetable tidbits pertaining to what our
editor calls “the Garden State’s most fertile homegrown scene for tuneage.”
It’s a remarkably eclectic selection of events going on right in your back yard
and sometimes where you least expect it.
Today and tonight it’s a Monday night Shore pitstop by an acclaimed
Southern songwriter, a weekend-extending “hair o’ the dog” at the area’s
newest “pre-fab pub,” and the final entry in the Talkin Jazz series
produced by Red Bank’s jet-setting conductor, Joe Muccioli (at right).
Stick with us the rest of this week, because we’ll bring you all the info you need and more about some re-energized pioneers from the salad days of British
punk, a sound-art happening at an old canning factory, the most
electrifying in “unplugged” local performers, and what might just be the
single most dynamic Open Mic on the Jersey Shore, going on right here in Red
Bank.
And right here, it goes without saying, in the pixelated pages of Red Bank oRBit.
