Here are some scenes from Thursday night’s ‘Soul Sister Party’ at the Children’s Cultural Center in Red Bank, part of the weeklong ‘Paint the Town Pink‘ breast cancer awareness effort.
The center’s second-floor auditorium was transformed into a pink-hued disco lounge for the evening, which had a ’70s music theme.
Dana Cowin, editor-in-chief at Food & Wine magazine, spoke to the gathering of several hundred women about her experiences with breast cancer.
