BOROUGH WEBSITE MAKES QUIET DEBUT

The new Red Bank government website hit the Internet this morning.

Officials caution that this is a soft launch, and that they’re still working out a number bugs and tweaking the site.
Municipal website developer C3 Citizen Communication Center of Nutley won the contract to build the site in April. The contract calls for the borough to pay C3 a flat rate of $2,000 a month to update and maintain the site.

The site is to have a citizen alert component, under which borough residents can sign up for email alerts. It’s not immediately clear if that function is operating.

C3 has previously created sites forĀ Fair Haven and Middletown. Users who have registered for those or other municipal sites maintained by the firm can access all of them using the same login info.

Speaking of such things, today’s Asbury Park Press reports that Little Silver is scheduled to unveil its new website on Saturday.

But it looks to us like it’s up already. Check it out here.
