Have you visited redbankgreen‘s dedicated web page for the upcoming Red Bank Townwide Yard Sale?

Today we’ve updated the exclusive source of information about the September 12 bargainfest with a feature about Lonnie Gordon, a Red Banker we’ve dubbed the town’s ‘yard sale maven.’

Here’s a taste:

Pay a visit to Gordon’s 17-room house on Leighton Avenue in Red Bank, and prepare to get a curated view of her second-hand treasures. A mahogany writing table ($40). A set of wineglasses ($2). An electric skillet ($7) that she calls “the best damn thing I ever bought.”

The article is just one of a slate of pieces aimed at giving buyers and sellers everything they need to know about this second-annual event, which promises border-to-border treasures. We hope you’ll check it out and forward links to your friends all over the tri-state region.

And sellers, remember to sign up. We ‘ve got registration forms on the site, too.

Meantime for those who don’t get their fill from the townwide event, here’s another sale coming up next month:

St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Red Bank plans a community yard sale for Saturday, September 19.

“Old and new stuff will be available” at the rain or shine event, we’re reliably informed. Six-foot-long spaces are being sold for $5 for those who bring their own tables and $10 for those who plan to use one provided by the church. Proceeds from table sales will go to St. Anthony’s.

For questions please call, Tiffany at 732.768.8829 or St. Anthony’s at 732.741.0813 ext 10.

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
