Months after the project was supposed to be completed, the new traffic lights still aren’t operational at the traffic-bolloxing intersection of Maple Avenue, Water Street and White Street in Red Bank. Local officials say the hangup is with electric utility JCP&L.
Meanwhile, contractors to the state Department of Transportation, which is overseeing the $1.54 million reconstruction of the intersection, were out Thursday night milling Maple in preparation for repaving.
