Clear access to hydrants can save valuable time in an emergency, firefighters say.
The Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department is asking any property owner with a fire hydrant on their property to assist with snow removal.
Having hydrants accessible will save valuable time in an emergency, the department says in a a request posted on the borough website.
“Members of the all-volunteer department will be working to clear any blocked bydrants and appreciate any assistance residents can give,” the request says.
