Guess we’re in for another round of supermarket frenzy.

The National Weather Service says the Red Bank area may get four or more inches of snow from a storm that’s expected to begin late tonight and last into Friday.

And now, we go to the nation’s weatherbot, which obviously has its caps lock key on:

PENNSYLVANIA…AND 6 INCHES OVER EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND CENTRAL
NEW JERSEY. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THIS POTENTIAL
STORM…SO DRIFTING AND BLOWING SNOW ARE POSSIBLE AS WELL.

Here’s the extended forecast:

Today: Showers likely, mainly before 7am. Cloudy, with a high near 42. North wind between 8 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight: A chance of rain before 1am, then snow. Low around 33. North wind between 3 and 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow. High near 34. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 13 mph increasing to between 19 and 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow. Low around 31. Breezy, with a west wind between 22 and 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Friday: Snow likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a west wind between 16 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Friday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 41.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44.
