MORNING BLIZZARD WHITES OUT THE GREEN

Mother Nature dropped about a foot of snow on the Red Bank area in a storm that raged early Saturday morning but appeared to have abated by midday.

The redbankgreen was out there to pixelate the event.

Here’s the National Weather Service forecast:

This Afternoon: A chance of light snow. Cloudy, with a high near 24. Windy, with a north wind around 26 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Tonight: A chance of light snow before 7pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 15. Blustery, with a north wind 20 to 23 mph decreasing to between 9 and 12 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 29. North wind between 9 and 15 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 17. Northwest wind between 11 and 14 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 33. Northwest wind between 13 and 17 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 32. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
