The Future Buccaneers program wrapped up its second summer with basketball and soccer tournaments last week.
The program brings together seventh and eighth-graders from the three Red Bank Regional High sending districts of Little Silver, Red Bank and Shrewsbury for a series of games intended to acquaint future RBR students with one another.
Twenty-eight students participated in the soccer series, which wrapped up a four-weekend season with a tourney Friday night at the Community YMCA in Red Bank.
Another 64 were in the hoops series, held on Thursday nights over four weeks at RBR.
The Future Bucs program was organized by the parks and rec departments of the three towns along with community youth enthusiasts
