A Shrewsbury Avenue man was arrested on drug charges early this morning, Red Bank police said.
Pierre Gadson, 30, was arrested for possession of crack cocaine, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia, according to a statement from the department.
Police had initiated a warrant on Gadson’s home following an investigation by the department’s anti-crime unit for possible drug transactions at the residence.

The Red Bank Police Department executed a search warrant during the early morning hours of August 20, 2010 at a Shrewsbury Avenue residence. The warrant was issued following an investigation by Det. Robert Clayton and members of the departments Anti-Crime Unit, into narcotic transactions at the residence.
As a result of the search warrant, Pierre Gadson, 30 years old, of Red Bank was charged with Possession of CDS Crack Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.
Gadsons bail was set at $32,000 and he was incarcerated in the Monmouth County Jail.
