FORECAST: GOOD EATIN’ WEATHER

The week starts off damp, but sunshine will prevail by the time family and friends gather for Thanksgiving, according to the National Weather Service.

Today: Rain likely, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 54. North wind between 8 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight: A slight chance of light rain before 7pm, then occasional drizzle. Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Northeast wind between 8 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Rain likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 53. East wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Periods of rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 4am. Low around 52. South wind between 9 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. High near 64. South wind 16 to 18 mph becoming west. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers before 1am. Partly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 36. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
