As we enter the final week of winter 2012-2013 – yes! – a little taste of things to come for those who don’t mind spoiling a good walk, as Mark Twain put it.

Ah, but Where was the above photo taken? Send guesses here, please.

Nikki Fitzmaurice, Barbara Ann Voetsch, Barbara Mullen, Memone Crystian, Pat Walsh, Lindsey Hintelmann, Kay Vilardi, Dan Mancuso, Kristofer Jones, Thomas Doremus, Macy Riley, Nancy Banta, Mike Simpson, the Colmorgen Kids, Robert Clark, Mike West, Alan Fisher, Sandra Talarico, Jenn Woods, Brian Phillips, Trish DePonti, Rick Gill, Cindy Allen and Jill Kozlowski wrote in about last week’s photo. It showed a mural of a man painting… a mural? Well, the exterior of a building, to be sure.

All correctly identified this as the mural at the pocket park at Drs. James Parker Boulevard and Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank, on the side of the building that houses Quick Fix It auto repairs. It was painted in 2002 by Fair Haven muralist Jim Fitzmaurice, who we featured in redbankgreen a few months back while he was working on the mural at Juanito’s restaurant at Monmouth and West streets.

Kay Vilardi writes: “This is such a fun mural……it is so realistic and always catches my eye.”

Thanks to all who wrote in.
