Friday, May 24:

RED BANK: A new display of artwork created by students from Red Bank Regional, Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, and Middletown South goes up Gallery U & Boutique. The opening reception runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and the Student Life exhibition will be on display through June 4. 80 Broad Street.

RUMSON:  Rip Tide rolls through Molly Maguire’s Black Point Inn.  The show begins at 9 p.m. 132 East River Road.

RED BANK: Reservoir Doggs come sniffing around the Downtown. The four-piece cover band plays hits by ’80s idols such as Bon Jovi and Guns ‘N Roses as well as modern day top 40 rockers Nickelback and Foo Fighters.  The cover is $10 and the show begins at 9 p.m.  10 West Front Street.

RED BANK: Stop by the Walt Street Pub to say “hello” to Goodbie Amy. Show begins at 8 p.m. 180 Monmouth Street.

RED BANK: New Jersey singer/songwriter Bob Burger returns to Basil T’s for a Friday night set beginning at 7 p.m. 183 Riverside Avenue.

Saturday, May 25:

RED BANK: Daddy Pop, a multifunctional cover band, plays the Downtown.  Let the octuplet take you back with their renditions of hits by the Jackson 5 and Frankie Valli, or leave you tapping your feet to the latest hits from Black Eyed Peas and J Lo.

RED BANK:  Steve and Johnny visit Basil T’s for the show begins at 7 p.m. 183 Riverside Ave.

RED BANK:  The first installment of Rebuild Seaside’s summer comedy series debuts at the Count Basie Theatre. Comedian Rich Vos hosts sidesplitting jokesters Dave Saitzyk, Bonnie McFarlane and Chris DiStefano. Replacing original headliner Artie Lang is Jim Florentine, whose résumé appearances include MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central.  Tickets are $25, $35, $45, and $55; proceeds go to rebuilding Seaside Heights, Ortley Beach, Lavallette and Seaside Park.  The show begins at 8 p.m.

RED BANK:  Jersey Shore party band the Haven gets the party started at Walt Street Pub at 9 p.m. 180 Monmouth Street.

RUMSON:  Mike Plunkett makes an appearance at Molly Maguire’s Black Point Inn. The music begins at 9 p.m. 132 East River Road.

Sunday, May 26:

RED BANK: Fresh, locally grown produce from some of New Jerseys finest farmers, plus equally homegrown crafts, at this Sunday morning staple running May through the end of November in the Galleria parking lot. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bridge Avenue at West Front Street.

LINCROFT:  The Unitarian Universalist Congregating of Monmouth County hosts a group of homeschooling moms for this edition of Sunday Morning Dialogue.  The discussion is titled, “Homeschooling in NJ, Not AS Crazy As You Think,” and runs from 9 to 10 a.m. 1475 West Front Street.

RED BANK:  Continuing their annual Memorial Day weekend tradition, the Ribeye Brothers perform in the outdoor Temple Bar of the Dublin House, this time with special guests The Neverly Brothers. The show starts at 7 p.m. 30 Monmouth Street.

RED BANK: The Sunday night event is THE place to find musicians congregating, hanging out, trying new ideas, cutting up on some classics and generally enjoying one of the MUST events for Jersey Shore music fans at Jamian’s. The fun runs 8 to 10 p.m. 79 Monmouth Street.
