An Ocean County woman was charged with drunken driving after an accident in which her car hit two others Thursday night, Red Bank police said.
Joyce Jeffers, 39, of Beachwood was heading south on Branch Avenue at 10:48 p.m. when she swerved and struck a car stopped on East Bergen Place, said Captain Darren McConnell.
The driver of that vehicle, Kimberly Scott, 29, of Rumson, was not injured, he said.
Jeffers’ car continued on a short distance and hit an unoccupied vehicle parked on Branch, McConnell said.
Jeffers, who was also uninjured, was arrested on charges of DWI, refusal of a breath test and other violations, he said.
