SANDY HOOK CLOSED IN FEDERAL SHUTDOWN

sandy-hook-2-031312-500x375-9831075Among the more visible manifestations of the federal government shutdown that began Tuesday was the closure of Gateway National Park at Sandy Hook. The Star-Ledger reports that park rangers will be “turning beach-goers and bicyclists away” at the entrance. The New York Times has a graphic showing who stays home and who continues working by federal agency. (Click to enlarge)
