fhtys-050512-2-220x165-5852064Like blooming flowers and trees, the next two weekends promise riches for sellers and buyers alike in three communities on the greater Red Bank Green.

First up, this Saturday: the Lincroft Village Green Association holds its 10th annual Lincroft Community Yard Sale at homes throughout that corner of Middletown from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A week later comes both the seventh annual Red Bank Townwide Yard Sale, a a fundraiser for the public library, and the Fair Haven Townwide Yard Sale.

LINCROFT: Residents are encouraged to register as sellers for inclusion in a booklet that lists participating homes and items for sale.

RED BANK: Brought to life in 2008 by borough resident Audrey Oldoerp and redbankgreen, this event typically features at least 100 homes throughout town offering somebody’s treasure. Hosted since 2010 by the Friends of the Red Bank Public Library, the event is a fundraiser for that vaunted borough institution.

The yard sale, which features a detailed seller’s list and map available the night before, runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday. Maps will be available online (at the Friends Facebook page) Friday evening and on paper at Starbucks, No Joe’s and outside the library at 8 a.m. the day of the event.

Here’s the registration form for sellers, which is due May 1: RBTYS 2014 registration

FAIR HAVEN: The borough’s yard sale runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, on May 3. Residents who wish to participate as sellers must acquire a $7 permit no later than noon on May 1. Blue balloons to identify participating homes will be available.

A list of participating homes will be available at borough hall on May 2 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
