PENINSULA SC RUNS WITH THE WOLVES

picture-7-7613298Press release from Peninsula Soccer Club

The locally based soccer organization Peninsula Soccer Club has announced a new partnership with the Wolverhampton Wanderers of the English Championship.

Under the arrangement — in which Little Silver native and Wolverhampton Partnership Development Manager Kevin Kooistra played an instrumental role — Peninsula SC coaches and players will have the opportunity to work with the Academy coaches of Wolves in both North America and England, offering an insight into the player development program of one of the top English soccer academies. The partnership will provide players and coaches unparalleled access to a club renowned for producing world class players.

The partnership will also see the Wolves North American Academy hosting a series of Elite Player ID events with Peninsula SC. The best male and female players at these events will be invited to attend the Wolves National Camp, where the top players from each of the Wolves partner clubs will be hosted. From there, the top players will be invited to attend the Elite Player Tour at our Academy in Wolverhampton, England.

The first event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26 through Thursday, August 28 at Sickles Park in Little Silver, with the U8-U10 boys and girls camp held from 9 to 11 am. The sessions for U-11 and up will be held from 12 to 2 pm. If there is enough interest in older age groups, a third session for U-13 and up will be held from 3 to 5 pm.

For more information visit the Wolves North American Academy website at www.wolvesnorthamericanacademy.com or contact Kevin Kooistra, Partner Development Manager at [email protected].
