Chief Darren McConnell tells redbankgreen that a black Ford SUV with barely perceptible grey door markings is being used for traffic enforcement because it doesn’t stand out as much as the squad’s white sedans with bold blue lettering. “It’s a little less obvious, but we still wanted it to be identifiable,” he said, adding that there are no plans to replace the fleet with black vehicles.
