Press release from Shrewsbury Recreation
Santa will be making his annual visit to Shrewsbury families on Sunday, December 13, from 3 until 6 pm. He will gladly spend a few minutes chatting with your children, posing for pictures, and delivering a small gift.
Those families wishing to participate in this annual tradition are asked to drop off their gifts at the Shrewsbury Fire Department (783 Broad Street) on Saturday, December 12 between noon and 6 pm.
No gifts will be accepted BEFORE or AFTER December 12th, so please plan accordingly. Your gifts should be no larger than 9” x 15” x 4”, clearly marked with your child’s name, address, age, and gender, on a card that can be easily removed from the package. Also, please include some small tidbit about your child so Santa knows something special about him or her. And remember to keep your lights on so Santa can find the right house (please do not specify special times for Santa to visit, as the super-busy St. Nick is regretfully unable to honor such requests)!
