This spring, Little Silver girls will be playing on softball teams with names like the “Pink Cadillacs,” “Pink Flamingos,” “Pink Panthers” and other pink names to promote breast cancer awareness and honor breast cancer survivors. Uniforms will sport the pink ribbon including pink visors and socks.
The softball teams, ranging in age from kindergarten through 18, play in the Two River Little League (TRLL), which includes the towns of Little Silver, Shrewsbury, Red Bank, Fair Haven and Rumson.
Open registration for all towns for the Two River Little league is through January 31. For more information including registration and sponsorships opportunities, contact [email protected] or visit www.littlesilver.org. Sign-ups are also open for spring lacrosse and baseball.
