1ST PLACE SPELL FOR FAIR HAVEN 5TH GRADER

Knollwood spellerKnollwood School fifth-grader Jacob Brown, claimed first place in the school’s Annual Spelling Bee on January 26,  with his correct spelling of the word “nonplus.” The ten year old son of Melanie and Jason Brown competed against grade-level spelling champs Aaron Bernstein (8th grade), Alex Fratto (7th grade), PJ Rawlins (6th grade), and Sammi Samuels (4th grade). Next up for Jacob is county-level competition in the Regional Spelldown, held March 14 at Monmouth University.
