A BIG-TENT CELEBRATION ON SANDY HOOK

brian-kirk-and-the-jirks-2016-9150900Brian Kirk and the Jirks signal the pre-season start of summer on Sandy Hook, as the Jersey Shore Partnership marks a milestone during its gala event on June 6.

Press release from Jersey Shore Partnership

The public is invited to help the Jersey Shore Partnership organization celebrate its 25th anniversary — and kick off summer at the Jersey Shore — at the Partnership’s annual Summer Celebration on Monday, June 6.

Scheduled from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and hosted in a huge party tent overlooking Sandy Hook Bay at historic Fort Hancock, the event offers attendees an opportunity to promote your business and network in an informal atmosphere with 500 guests from Cape May to North Jersey, who share a mutual goal to preserve the future of the Jersey Shore coastline and economy.

The Summer Celebration provides the resources for the Jersey Shore Partnership Foundation to build on its outreach and educational programs, and supports the advocacy efforts of “The Sand on the Beach People” on the local, state and federal levels on behalf of our beaches.

Senator Joe Kyrillos and Susan Kyrillos will serve as honorary dinner chairs for the June 6 event, with co-chairs including Laurence Downes (Chairman and CEO< New Jersey Resources) and Foundation chairman S. Thomas Gagliano. Honorees at the event will be Stockton University Coastal Research Center (Educational Excellence Award) as well as the legislators and companies who founded the Partnership. Live music will be furnished by Shore favorites Brian Kirk and the Jirks.

Tickets ($120) to the casual-dress event include cocktail reception and sumptuous seafood, and can be reserved here. Scheduled rain date is Tuesday, June 7.
