RUMSON BOARDS CELEBRATES TOP STUDENTS

Press release from Rumson School District

At the November 30 meeting of the Rumson School District Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. John Bormann and fellow board members congratulated students in grades 3-8 for obtaining perfect scores on the 2015 PARCC English Language Arts, PARCC Mathematics, and/or NJASK Science assessments.

The PARCC is given each year in the Spring to students in grades 3-8, and the NJASK is given in science to students in grade 4 and in grade 8.

Before a standing-room-only crowd, each student was presented a certificate from Board of Education President Mrs. Colleen O’Connor, and Supervisor of Assessment Mrs. Vera Ridoux. Dr. Bormann congratulated the students by noting that “It is no easy feat to accomplish a perfect score on these tests…we are very proud of the hard work our teachers put into the education of our students and the dedication our students display towards their success.”
