
Beth Hanratty of the Friends of the Red Bank Public Library said the change to a biennial event was prompted by declining shopper attendance, largely as a result of townwide yard sales held the same day in neighboring Fair Haven. So while the number of sellers has continued to grow, “based on feedback from participants, the Friends have decided to schedule the event every other year,” Hanratty said.
