Dozens of witches descended on the banks of the Navesink River Thursday night to dance away evil spirits just have an old fashioned pre-Halloween blast as part of the Witches Night Out sponsored by the Borough and Red Bank Rivercenter.
The dance routine is one developed by a German dance group’s annual performance at an annual festival with roots in centuries-old European pagan traditions. It was led by Hedy Perna of Perna Dance Center in Hazlet.
