RED BANK HOLIDAY SEASON BEGINS WITH HUGE WEEKEND

The 32nd annual town holiday lighting celebration, Santa leading a parade, models posing as mannequins, gift card giveaways, an art gallery walking tour and more. The Holiday Season begins with a blizzard of things to do this weekend – oh, and FREE PARKING! Scroll down for the full rundown of happenings for the Black Friday/small business Saturday weekend. 


The pre-show and parade featuring Santa Claus and led by the Red Bank Fire Department begins with music and refreshments (including hot apple cider) at the plaza alongside the Two River Theater at 5:30 pm Friday, then moves east to the concert by Holiday Express and Town Lighting on Broad Street near Garmany. On Saturday, Red Bank Rivercenter will be giving away $25 gift cards to promote shopping at local stores for small business Saturday. Parking will be free from Friday to Sunday and again From Dec. 9 to 25. See the flyer below for a full rundown. 

2024 HOLIDAY EVENTS RED BANK

 

On Saturday, as RiverCenter put it, “forget about the malls and shopping centers on Saturday – just come downtown, park for free, get your free gift card and then have fun with your holiday shopping” Parking will be free at all town lots and curbside kiosks and RiverCenter is giving away $5,000 in vouchers to spend at a long list of local shops. On Sunday, art studios and galleries across town will be open for “Artists Sunday” and folks are encouraged to go for a self-guided tour of a list of participating galleries. Here’s a flier with a list below.
