The National Weather Service is predicting a rainy Thanksgiving, with the chance of rain at 100 percent. The rain ushers in a cold front that will see temperatures plummet below freezing for the first time this year. Here’s the forecast:

Rain likely, mainly after 4am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thanksgiving Day
Rain. High near 53. East wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Thursday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 48. West wind around 10 mph.
