A healthy crowd of revelers braved Jack Frost’s nose-nipping wind chills for the annual West Side holiday tree lighting at Johnny Jazz Park Friday evening.
The ceremony featured musical performances by School of Rock, barbershop singers Chorus of the Atlantic, Count Basie Center for the Arts Turner Academy, The Red Bank Charter School and the Red Bank Primary School. And of course, the volunteer Red Bank Fire Department transported Santa Claus to the event, causing a frenzy of screams and jumps for joy among the kids. redbankgreen has the photos to warm your heart, if not your freezing toes.
