Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s “Where” was a close up of the Coastal Building, at 151 Bodman Place alongside the Navesink River just east of the Route 35 Cooper’s Bridge.
We’ve been watching the second season of “Severance and although that was filmed at Bell Works in Holmdel, the office building’s architecture does give off Lumon headquarters vibes. We’ve also lost more than one fishing lure to the tree in the far left of the picture due to a careless back-cast while standing shoulder to shoulder with other anglers during the spring striped bass run.
The building was built in 1982, according to an article about its sale in 2020 for $6.2 million. The wide glass offers spectacular views of the river, making it a wonder how any of the office workers get any work done, especially during the spring bass run.
Most folks replying got it right, although a few incorrectly guessed the building it was the nearby Oyster Point Hotel. Another thought it might be the Red Bank Public Library.
