Red Bank’s massive, earth-moving, road closing, more-complicated-than-expected effort to replace lead and galvanized water lines leading to properties across town may result in you getting a knock on the door in the coming weeks.
The Borough issued an alert last week telling residents that after more than a year of work and hundreds of lines replaced, there are still scores of addresses where the curbside water shut-off could not be located.
This will require deeper investigation, with teams heading out to all pending addresses and requesting entry to find just where exactly the dang thing is located beginning in March.
The best thing residents can do is check the list of properties to see if yours is affected. Click here to see the list.
You can also scan the QR Code in the graphic above to see the list and get more information. If you’re not home when they come, you should set up an appointment, the advisory says.
