Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
The photo was a close up of one of two tower-like structures atop the Les Gertrude Apartments at the intersection of Broad St & Pickney Road. The structures look like tiny houses themselves atop the grand old building.
Where regular Chris Havens called Les Gertrude “one true prewar apartment building.” It’s a pretty building, for sure, and we were struck by how it looked in the spectacular evening light on the Friday of Memorial Weekend as we were picking up our pizza at Gianni’s across the street.
Most folks who replied nailed this one, with one person incorrectly guessing it was above Juanito’s restaurant and other guessing it was the Tower Hill condos. Better luck this week!
