redbankgreen made fresh tracks with a predawn stroll through the streets of Red Bank during the first snowfall of the season Sunday. It wasn’t intentional, we simply couldn’t sleep imagining all the remarkable scenes unfolding across this lovely town of ours.
Snow shovellers, plow drivers and bagel makers were the only souls out and about as the snow picked up intensity around 530 am.
Here’s a sampling of the sights and some moments that were as peaceful as it gets ’round these parts.
Men waiting to be picked up for work said they were off to spend the day shovelling. For the time being, one of them told us, “It’s very pretty.”
This Santa in a front yard on Chestnut Street is just not feeling it.

This resident popped his head out long enough to utter “Whoa” at the sight of the snow. And he agreed to keep it open long enough for us to snap the photo. 

Time to make the bagels.
