Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s photo was a close up of a bench at the Bellhaven Nature Preserve at the foot of Locust Avenue on the shore of the Swimming River. Or is it the Navesink? Does anyone know at what point exactly the Swimming River becomes the Navesink? At any rate, the contextual clues were the giveaway with this, notably the phragmites and the wooden fence.
A few people guessed this was Maple Cove, another small riverfront park at the foot of Maple Avenue with the tall (hateful and invasive but we’re editorializing) reeds.
Katy Gilday said she could practically see the house she grew up in just across the river. Chuck Stern sent us the illustration of the Where Have I Seen This participation trophy. We are not sure if he awarded this to himself, but he and everyone else who regularly play this game certainly deserve it.
