Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s photo was a close-up of the round “Pizza” sign hanging from Sally Boy’s pizza at 1 Broad Street, at the corner with West Front Street.
We took the photo in February, when the deep blue winter sky created an irresistible contrast with the white and black sign.
Even if you don’t recognize this sign, one might think this would be super easy to solve this by narrowing down the pizza-bilities in a small town like Red Bank.
But our off-the-cuff calculation counted at least 15 places in Red Bank that serve pizza. So it’s not that simple.
Brye Pinkos had just eaten there and wasn’t sure of the guess but wondered if his subconscious brain was telling him the answer. Dorothy Niemczyk first guessed, “Tommy Boy’s” which got us humming some Queen Latifa and De La Soul songs, but then she corrected herself and nailed it.
