Here’s a little diddy for ya – a montage of moments from redbankgreen‘s 20th anniversary party at Marine Park on Tuesday evening. (See video above)
We were blessed with a perfect Navesink River sunset and a blissful set by the band Kül D’ Sac. There were heartfelt addresses by redbankgreen founder John T. Ward, editor Brian Donohue and Publisher Kenny Katzgrau.
There was a proclamation of appreciation issued by Assemblywoman Marjorie Donlon and a surprise bird nerd gift given to Donohue by Patchwork for Wildlife Red Bank in appreciation for his environmental coverage.
And at the end, there was the spectacle of Donohue trying to scramble and finish an audience participation trivia game as most of the audience bolted amid the plummeting temperatures and onsetting darkness.
But most importantly, there was a chance for us at redbankgreen, to say thank you – to you, the readers, to our advertisers and to all our supporters who make this possible
