After two idle weeks — one due to the opposing team’s illness, the other for a bye — Red Bank Regional returned to action Saturday, when it posted a 33-0 rout of Monmouth Regional in Tinton Falls.
Chris Brannagan ran for two touchdowns and 130 yards and Noah Mickens came up big on special teams and defense. The Bucs are now 2-2 as they head into Friday night’s game at home against 3-2 Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, the team that ended their run for a state championship last December.
