Looking for a wholesome fall activity this weekend? Never mind picking apples. Pick a president! Or a US Senator! Early in-person voting begins Saturday for the 2024 General Election. See more info below from the office of Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon.
The voting option allows voters to cast their ballots in person on machines for a 9-day period prior to Election Day.
“With voter turnout expected to be high as has been the case in all presidential elections, voting early is a great option to avoid potential lines at the polls or other inconveniences on Election Day,” said Clerk Hanlon. “Evening and weekend hours provide extra flexibility for those with busy schedules, so it’s more convenient than ever to cast your ballot.”
Early in-person voting will be available Saturday, Oct. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
There are 10 designated early voting locations in Monmouth County, and voters may vote any of these locations regardless of where they reside.
The following are the early in-person voting locations in Monmouth County for the 2024 General Election:
- Colts Neck: Colts Neck Public Library, 2 Veterans Way (formerly 1 Winthrop Drive)
- Hazlet Township: Monmouth County Library, Hazlet Branch, 251 Middle Road
- Howell Township: Church of St. Veronica Gymnasium, 4219 Route 9 North
- Little Silver Borough: The Women’s Club of Little Silver, 111 Church Street
- Long Branch City: Brookdale Community College, 213 Broadway
- Manalapan: Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive
- Middletown: Croydon Hall (Assembly Hall), 900 Leonardville Road, Leonardo
- Neptune Township: Neptune Senior Center (Fitness Center), 1607 Corlies Avenue
- Spring Lake Heights: Cornelius V. Kelly Community Center, 902 Ocean Road
- Upper Freehold: Hope Fire Company #1 (Meeting Room), 82 Route 526, Allentown
In addition to early in person voting, voters have the options of casting their ballots the traditional way in person on Election Day or by mail.
