Shrewsbury families with children under 5 can now receive a free book mailed to their home every month through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, thanks to a partnership with Friends of Shrewsbury.

The effort is being organized in part by Red Bank attorney Jason Sena, a trustee of the nonprofit.

According to its website, Friends of Shrewsbury is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that supports parks, historic places, and community initiatives in the borough and neighboring communities.
