The 72nd Annual Red Bank Sidewalk Sale kicked off at noon Friday, with shopkeepers and bargain hunters filling the sidewalks and hauling off bargains despite the heat.

Parking is free all weekend. The weather at 1pm Friday was remarkably tolerable, especially in the shady spots. Many shoppers were seen sipping tall cool beverages from local businesses.
