This 20th anniversary is an incredible achievement, and we want to celebrate with the people who have been the most important in making it happen: you, the readers.
Join us for a night of huzzahs, hoorays, laughs, music, giveaways, and celebration under an autumn sunset on the Navesink River.
The date is set for Tuesday, October 6 at 5:30 pm. (Rain date is Monday, October, 12) on the big lawn at Marine Park.
Here’s the Evite page with all the details and an RSVP button to smash so we can get a head count.
We’re celebrating because local news matters most when it helps a community see itself, know itself, and believe in its own future.
But this night is not just about redbankgreen.
It’s about Red Bank.
We’ll be partnering with local eateries so folks can grab takeout and join us picnic-style on the lawn at the park. (More details about that will be forthcoming as the date approaches)
redbankgreen was founded in 2006 around the model of a virtual town green, where folks could gather to share news and celebrate the vitality of our incredible town.
We hope you’ll join us on the real-life green to celebrate it all in person.
Again, here’s the event page where you can RSVP.
Oh, and if you missed it, here’s our redbankgreen podcast episode focusing on the 20th anniversary. It’ll give you a good sense of why this is such a big deal worth celebrating.
