VIDEO: RED BANK PORCHFEST DRAWS “CRAZY” CROWDS

By BRIAN DONOHUE

And in its fifth year, Red Bank Porchfest went next level.

Graced with perfect weather and five-year-track record that has folks marking it on a calendar as a can’t-miss event, Red Bank Porchfest brought out “crazy” numbers of people to Red Bank yesterday,

The event featured 190 musical acts at 38 different locations, from wide front porches and yards and a dead end street. There was opera, church hyms, death metal, Billy Joel covers, funk, soul and happy dogs galore.

“Biggest crowd ever,” founder and organizer Marta Quinn said standing on Hudson Street amid hundreds of people swaying to the sounds of Strumberry Pie, the band playing on her own front porch. “And usually they come around two (p.m.), but by twelve o’clock we had crowds. They came early, full families riding their bikes, scooters, walking in, taking the train in by the train station. It’s crazy.”Marta Quinn porchfest 2026

If you think herding cats is hard, try hundreds of musicians. Marta Quinn wrangles ’em from behind the wheel of a golf cart during 2026 Red Bank Porchfest.

If you missed it, take a look at the video reel above for just a tiny sample of the sounds, sights and vibes of the day. And if you went, watch it anyway, or bookmark the page for those cold dark winter nights ahead when we’ll all be dreaming of sitting on a lawn under sunny skies and revelling in Red Bank bliss.
