Jet planes etched a pair of vapor trails in the crisp, cold sky beyond St. James RC Church in Red Bank late Thursday afternoon.

The National Weather Service forecasts cloudy skies, a chance of snow showers before 3p and a high temperature of 38 degrees today. Little or no acumulation is expected.
