‘Where Have I Seen This?’ returns this week after taking a Christmas holiday it’s first break since we launched redbankgreen on June 1, 2006.
So where does ‘Where’ go on vacation? We’ll never tell. It’s a secret. Let’s just say noWhere and everyWhere…
Speaking of secrets, three readers mistook our last Where which featured a symbol showing a compass, square and carpenter’s plane for one on the front of 152 Maple Avenue, Red Bank, home of the Navesink Lodge No. 9 of the Free & Associated Masons.
But 11 others wrote in to correctly identify the symbol as from the Carpenters Union Local 2250 building on Wikoff Place, at the corner of Maple Ave. (The Masons’ symbol uses the square and compass, but not the plane, while the carpenters incorporates the phrase ‘labor omnia vincit,’ Latin for ‘work conquers all.’)
Thanks to all who wrote in: Alan Placer, Bob Colmorgen, Jenn Woods, Alex Jones, PineCreekNit, Ross Richardson, Carl Colmorgen, Wade Davis, Sue Noone, Mark Molzon, Sue McLaughlin, Jackie Patterson, Trish DePonti and John Mego.
How about this week’s photo? Think you can identify where it was taken? Send us an email at [email protected], please.
