76-YEAR-MAN OLD BUSTED FOR HEROIN

Entries from Red Bank’s police logs for the week of September 5 to 12. The information is unedited.

Theft reported on 9-8-08 at Catherine St. Victim reported that unknown subject entered garage at residence and removed a bicycle and grass trimmer. Last time victim saw both items was approximately one week prior. Bike described as: 26” Trek 560, color purple with yellow writing. Weedwacker was a Homelite, red and black in color. Ptl. Theft occurring at Mount St. on 9-9-08. Victim reported that while walking a male subject, described as white, 6Â’ tall male with blonde hair came up from behind her and stole two purses which were on her shoulder. Contents were cash, debit card, credit card, I.D., etc. There were four other subjects with the accused who all fled. Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Theft occurring between 9-4-08 and 9-6-08 at Riverside Ave. Victim reported that unknown person entered locked safe in room that she was staying in and stole a diamond tennis bracelet. Ptl. James DePonte.

Theft occurring at Shrewsbury Ave. on 9-10-08. Victim reported that ex-girlfriend entered residence and took the following items; 32” HD LCD T.V., DVR, Sony Playstation, camera, photo albums, air-conditioner, IPOD, and jewelry, which the victim stated belonged to him. Ptl. Matthew Ehrenreich.

Irma Bottino, age 38 female from Long Branch was arrested on 9-10-08 in the area of Broad St. for Resisting Arrest, Agg. Assault and DWI by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Lawrence Nowell, male age 76 of Red Bank was arrested on 9-9-08 in the area of W. Bergen Place for Poss. of CDS Heroin and Poss. of Prescription Legend Drugs, Oxycodone by Ptl. James DePonte.

Joanna Maertens, age 39 female of Eatontown was arrested on 9-7-08 in the area of W. Front St. for DWI by Ptl. George Travostino.

Daniel Becerra-Tapia, age 27 male from Middletown was arrested on 9-7-08 in the area of Oakland St. for DWI by Ptl. Thomas Doremus.

Fernando Linares-Garcia, age 19 male of Red Bank was arrested on 9-6-08 in the area of Chestnut St. for Disorderly Concduct by Ptl. Dawn Shields.

Michael Kwarta, age 43 male from Clifton was arrested on 9-5-08 in the area of English Plaza for Theft and Burglar Tools by Sgt. Michael Frazee.

Grazyna Kwarta, age 42 female from Clifton was arrested on 9-5-08 in the area of Enclish Plaza for Theft by Sgt. Michael Frazee.

Tyrone Roy, age 45 male of Red Bank was arrested on 9-5-08 in the area of Water St. for Shoplifting and Disorderly Conduct by Ptl. George Travostino.

Markies Wells, age 22 male from Neptune was arrested on 9-5-08 in the area of W. Sunset Ave. for Harassment by Ptl. James DePonte.
