RED BANK: THREE ATTEMPTED BURGLARIES

The crime reports below were provided by the Red Bank Police Department for the period of August 19  to August 26, 2011. This information is unedited.

Theft occurring at Maple Ave-Restaurant on 8-20-11. Victim reported that unknown person(s) stole cash from purse. Lt. Michael Clay

Attempted burglary occurring on 8-22-11 at Shrewsbury Ave. Victim reported seeing a black male subject (unknown) trying to pry the door open on side of building, along with two other black males standing by. Upon seeing the victim, subjects fled. Ptl. Michael Zadlock.

Report of attempted burglary on 8-23-11 but occurring previous to this date at High Street residence. Victim reported that unknown person(s) had placed a small chair in front of window and cut screen. Nothing reported missing from the residence. Ptl. Matthew Ehrenreich.

Attempted burglary reported on 8-23-11 at Worthley Street. Victim reported that unknown person(s) cut three screens on residence. Nothing reported missing. Ptl. Matthew Ehrenreich.

ARRESTS: 2 Contempt of Court

Michelle Manganello, age 18 female of Lincroft was arrested on 8-26-11 in the area of Riverside Ave. for DWI by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Greg Carmody, age 24 male of Atlantic Highlands was arrested on 8-26-11 in the area of Riverside Ave. for Poss. of CDs Marijuana and Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia by Sgt. Errico Vescio.

Brian Johnson, age 23 male of Atlantic Highlands was arrested on 8-26-11 in the area of Riverside Ave. for Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia by Sgt. Errico Vescio.

Jamaine Smith, age 35 male of Red Bank was arrested on 8-24-11 in the area of Montgomery Terrace for Simple Assault by Ptl. Nicholas Maletto.

Mauro Linares-Escalona, age 29 male of Red Bank was arrested on 8-25-11 in the area of Shrewsbury Ave for Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats by Ptl. James DePonte.

A 14 year old male of Red Bank was arrested on 8-23-11 in the area of W. Front St. for Burglary and Theft by Det. Joey Fields.

Odlanyer Monzon, age 21 male of Atlantic Highlands was arrested on 8-21-11 in the area of Mechanic Street for DWI by Capt. Darren McConnell.

Mark Koenigh, age 53 male of Union Beach was arrested on 8-20-11 in the area of Rt. 35 North for DWI by Ptl. George Travostino.
